Overview of Community Responsibilities

The purpose of this team is to make the conference a more inclusive event where everyone feels like part of the community. Here are the core responsibilities of this team:

• Community outreach ahead of the conference
• Provide a list of local childcare resource to parents attending
• Provide a Wellness Room that is available to nursing parents and anyone else who might need it
• Oversee DjangoCon US Perspectives video interviews with attendees during the conference
• Provide assistance to person in charge of:
  • Visas
  • Orientation Speech
